The ingredients needed to cook Split Pea Soup:
  1. Get 1 leftover frozen ham bone (any size)
  2. Provide 20 oz bag dry green split peas
  3. Get 12 cup water
  4. Take 14 12 oz can sliced carrots (drained)
  5. Use 15 oz can new potatoes (drained)
  6. You need 1 salt n pepper to taste
Instructions to make Split Pea Soup:
  1. Place water in a large pot.
  2. Place frozen ham bone in pot of water.
  3. Turn heat on high and boil covered for 2 hours.
  4. Remove from heat. And remove ham bone from water. Keeping water in pot.
  5. Let ham bone cool until its handleable.. pick all meat and bone marrow off bone and place in pot of water.
