The ingredients needed to prepare Roast turkey:

- You need salt & pepper
- Get garlic clove
- Prepare stuffing (see my recipe or use your own)
- Get butter stick
Instructions to make Roast turkey:
- Wash turkey in and out.
- Chop up garlic clove into slivers and slide under the skin all over.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper mix all over.
- Stuff bird.
- Cover tightly with foil. Cook at 325 for 25 minutes per pound or to an internal temp of 165.
- During final 30 minutes uncover bird and and rub with butter. Baste 2 or 3 times for browning.
Keep turkey covered with aluminum foil so it will stay warm. Place turkey, breast side up, on a roasting rack in a heavy metal roasting pan. If the turkey comes with a pop-up timer, remove it; an instant-read thermometer is a much more accurate indication of doneness. How long you cook your turkey can vary, depending on the temperature of the oven and whether or not your turkey recipe calls for a stuffed or unstuffed bird.
